From War to a New Future of Hope and Reconciliation – Nairobi (until 2023)
A multi-sectoral project supporting urban Somali refugees in Kenya, providing psychosocial assistance, financial support, academic and vocational training, and daycare services for children.
Objective: to improve the living conditions and self-reliance of urban Somali refugees by strengthening their psychosocial well-being, expanding access to education and skills development, and enabling women’s participation through childcare support.

Tree Planting Campaign – Kismayo
An environmental initiative aligned with the national “Plant-a-Tree” campaign, combining community training and awareness with the planting of over 1,000 native, climate-resilient trees. The campaign addresses land degradation, promotes biodiversity, and encourages local communities to actively participate in environmental protection and sustainable land management.
Objective: to combat desertification, restore degraded lands, and promote sustainable land and natural resource management. The project aims to create lasting ecological and social benefits by improving green cover, enhancing community awareness, and fostering long-term stewardship of the environment.

Emergency Response to Drought and Food Insecurity
Integrated WASH, health, and nutrition interventions in drought- and flood-affected areas of Somalia, targeting the most vulnerable populations, including women, children, and displaced communities. The project provides temporary gender-sensitive sanitation facilities, access to clean and safe water, hygiene promotion, waste management, and protection support, addressing both immediate and critical needs while preventing the spread of waterborne diseases such as AWD/Cholera.
Objective: to respond to the urgent needs of drought- and flood-affected communities by ensuring access to clean water and safe sanitation, promoting hygiene, preventing disease outbreaks, and supporting vulnerable women and children with dignity and protection materials.
