With over 4.6 million people affected by drought and acute hunger.
Sara Ben Rached, director of Caritas Somalia, warns that without immediate funding,
the situation could turn catastrophic, especially for children and displaced people.

Quaresima di Fraternità 2026 – Progetto Somalia

For the 2026 Lent of Fraternity, Caritas Ambrosiana is supporting several projects, including Caritas Somalia in Kismayo. The project promotes food security and nutrition for malnourished children, strengthening communities through food kits, nutrient-rich seeds, and community gardens.
